Hy-Vee Floral

I called the floral department yesterday and I wanted some flowers delivered to my mother-in-law.. She said for the price that I wanted she could put in some colorful Spring flowers in a vase. And I said that sounds great. What was delivered was not Spring flowers nor were they colorful and I was pretty disappointed.

Zero stars if I could. In the past Boone Hy-vee floral has astounded me with the quality and price of its products, however this past weekend I found myself baffled by a lower quality of service and product than found even at Walmart. This can all be blamed on the new floral manager Robyn. I was missing eight of twenty roses ordered, the stargazer lilies I ordered were lavender not stargazer, of the seven wrapped carnations I ordered non were wrapped and two were broken, and on attempt to get a refund for product missing I was refunded only $20 of $80 which doesn't cover the missing roses, let alone incorrect lilies, and broken and naked carnations. I will never buy flowers from Boone Hy-vee again for as long as Robyn is the floral manager and I suggest others avoid it as well, Ames is only 15 minutes away after all. Caleb on the phone who helped me however was wonderful and deserves a raise.
