Excellent. They are not a retail pharmacy, they handle nursing homes at this location.

My normal policy is if you cannot say something nice don't say anything at all and the corrupt will eventually be held accountable. This is one time I will violate that policy simply to warn others of the incredible lengths this place will go to avoid admitting they made a mistake. My wife was the victim of a botched gall bladder surgery on April 19 and spent her time in various hospitals until August 14 when she was then transferred to skilled care. She finally came home on November 23. On November 8 she transferred to private pay for the last 15 days to get a bit more stable before coming home. This business was in charge of supplying the medicines to the skilled care facility. On December 3 I received a bill from them dated November 30 for numerous medications. I immediately realized some would be private pay but the largest one, the insulin would be covered by insurance. I tried calling but got no one so then made a copy of my insurance card and assumed it was just a clerical error and sent the bill back and asked for a new one minus those charges the insurance would cover. I received the bill back the next week telling me that this was the bill the insulin had been filed too soon. I called and finally reached someone who told me the insulin had been invoiced on November 12 ( one time, the next time I was told it was billed November 30, then December 3). When my wife came home on November 23 we stopped by the local pharmacy to pick up the medicines the doctor called in. We had no warning of this upcoming bill from this place. I have made three calls to Wellmark and spoken with 3 different people who all told me this facility made the mistake and had they done things right would have been reimbursed by Wellmark and when we went to the local pharmacy they would have told us we would have had to wait a few days. The numerous lies and excuses this facility gave were horrific. I was told to try to take the insulin back to the local pharmacy ( who wants a drug store that takes back medicines once they have left the facility). Each time I called to try to resolve the situation it did not matter who I talked to they had a different story and different alibi. I heard all of the following .I It was my fault for picking up the insulin at the local pharmacy. 2. It was the local pharmacy's fault as they should take the medicine back and let this facility bill first. 3. It was the skilled care's fault 4. It was Wellmarks fault. Their last solution was to have me go to the local pharmacy and beg them to retract their billing for the insulin from November 23, let them bill first and have our local pharmacy wait and bill theirs latter. The answer I was given was this place is afraid of being audited but they could care less if some other place operated on the shady side of life as long as they personally came out ahead. It has to make a person wonder to what lengths they will go. It would have been wonderful to hear just one of them say "Hey we screwed up, we are sorry lets see what we can do to solve this. " Everyone makes mistakes it is how we chose to resolve them that shows the character and principles by which we operate. Instead their policy is to blame everyone but the one making the mistake.
