The mortgage process was horrendous. The Buyers applied at the South Ankeny Blvd location but little did they know the Mortgage Consultant was physically in Newton. There was a serious delay in all communication and several items requested last minute (less than 24 hours prior to scheduled closing) when should've been managed in the initial phases of the process. The HMC had no sense of urgency or concern for the parties involved. Poor attention to detail, communication, and concern for timing or what her clients were going through. This was very disheartening and scary for all parties involved.  This could've been a one off situation and they may do much better on every other mortgage but unfortunately you only get one chance to make an impression. Most people only go through this process a handful of times in an entire life time.
