Hy-Vee Pharmacy

Leave it to Hyvees pharmacists to discriminate. Called Tuesday June 20th to check my prescription cost and to confirm the medication. I called yesterday, June 22nd and spoke to Heather again, she stated that my prescription was canceled due to not being able to pay for it. I never stated that I couldn't pay for my medication, but they assumed since I had no insurance. Heather garenteed my medication for TODAY, Friday June 25th in the morning.... here we are 5 days later.... no medication and now I'm being told it will not be ready til 4PM. This is the absolute worst pharmacy ever, please fo not count on them for your prescription

Here we go again , the run around trying to get my prescriptions filled on time. I got the run around yesterday and today. Between hy vee pharmacy and my doctor's office. I still have to wait until tomorrow. I had surgery the 21st and they think I am going to make several trips over to Hy vee for more run around. I fired my doctor this afternoon , Since she doesn't have time for her patients . Her nurse tried to say the prescription was turned in early . It was due yesterday. . Hy-Vee pharmacy needs to get their act together.

For the most part, I've always had a good experience with the pharmacy. Phone refill system is easy, and when I've had to talk to someone for a refill, that was also smoothly handled. If I go to the doctor and they call in a prescription, there is generally a wait, but that is to be expected. Pharmacist has always been helpful and friendly when I had a question.
