        Built a pond for us that never filled enough to do the fish stocking that was in the contract. Kept saying they would come out to look at it and never did. Continued to ignore us. When I did a quick search on the internet I found out I am not the only one that has had these problems with them.

        Id highly recommend Kloubec Earthworks. Nick helped us design and build a pond on our hunting property a few years ago, we absolutely love it. We are planning to add a swim pond this year at home, wouldnt consult anyone else.

        Last summer, we worked with Kloubec Earthworks to put in our pond on our property. Nick listened to our thoughts and helped us design the most beautiful pond! We loved his suggestion for the location and we couldnt be happier with how it turned out. He made sure it was done perfectly and that we were completely happy with the work. Holly has always been quick to respond to our questions and we cant wait to work with her to fill the pond with fish this Spring! Nick and Holly are very trustworthy, responsive, knowledgeable and give great advice. We highly recommend this family business!

      Myron and Ellen Kloubec started an aquaculture business in Amana, Iowa, over thirty years ago, initially focusing on game fish. A decade later, influenced by their son Nick's passion for koi, they began dedicating more of their farm to koi production, eventually prioritizing koi over game fish.

      Thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed to hear that you did not have a good experience with our services. Unfortunately, not all soil is ideal for holding water, but this is usually quite simply remedied by lining the bottom and sides of the pond with clay, an option that was discussed with you and declined by you early on with your project. To further complicate things, what appeared to be an old burn pit full of debris and garbage was unearthed at your pond site during construction... making it even more necessary to line the pond in order for it to have a chance to seal. This was unusual and something neither of us could've predicted. If you decide to move forward with properly lining your pond with clay, let us know, we'd love to help. Either way, we will still either provide the fish as promised when you're ready, or refund you for their value.
