I've never had a dentist's office be so open about my options for care. They spent well over an hour with me on my initial visit. Everything was very thorough, and every aspect of the visit was explained. Carly from Albia was my dental hygienist, and she was so detailed and caring that every bad memory at a dentist's office washed away by the end of my visit.

Recently moved to the area and had a chipped tooth and my optical provider recommended Altoona Smiles. They got me in quickly for the repair and were able to schedule me for a cleaning and check up which was overdue for me, as I usually go every 6 months and it had been 16 months. This appointment was amazing! Technology that provided me very easy friendly views of my x-rays and photos. Dental cleaning used laser technology that removed stains and left me teeth very smooth and polished. My dental assistant was very professional, gentle and great communicator. Dr. Abby did my exam. She was very thorough and easy to communicate with. No attempt to "upsell' services, just observations and reasonable recommendations. Highly recommend this dental organization.

The office is so nice and they make sure that you are comfortable and meet any needs. They ask about whats important to you when it comes to teeth and what may keep you from furthering business with them which was great for setting boundaries and making them aware of anything that would make you uncomfortable.

Had an absolute amazing experience here today. Called and got in on an emergency basis, everyone was amazing, professional, and took their time to explain everything. Will be going back for future dental care for our whole family.

After having a bad experience with my last crown I was very reluctant to return for another. Dr.Nicole assured me that she would do everything to make me comfortable. From the moment I walked in the door everything was smooth sailing. From the comfort menu to the attentiveness of every staff member I encountered this was my best dental appointment ever. Dr. Nicole was so efficient at her job that I didn't even realize she was finished.I still need to return for my permanent crown in 2 weeks so the entire staff will have another opportunity to impress me once again.
