Brick Street Inn

Very nice rooms, friendly staff, nice amenities, great location with restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

We were in town for a busy wedding weekend. It was recommended by locals. We found this lovely inn extremely clean, beautifully-appointed and comfortable. It felt like home away from home. It was quiet, snacks and beverages of all sorts were readily available in the hallway upstairs at any time, beds were comfortable, and our room had those extra things you have to typically leave at home when flying - like a nice robe and an umbrella. Nice. I stupidly left a nice ring in the room at checkout. I thought I'd lost it somewhere. Guess what? Jessica found it, and was sweet enough to track us down before we left town. That's amazing service, not to mention honesty! We will definitely stay there again when travelling to Indy.

It was a nice environment and accommodations, but I'd advise people to avoid staying in room 4 specifically because I was woke up around 7am to loud persistent banging noises coming from the kitchen below for about two hours. Unfortunately after contacting the hotel asking about it, they ignored the message and never got back with me. It's sad when an overall good rated hotel disregard the few instances that a customer has a negative experience.

Rooms: Rooms were clean but the water didnt stay consistently warm while showering. There were also stains all over the sheets we were using on the bed. Nearby activities: Most shops were unfortunately closed by 4 pm on a Saturday which is a shame, we didnt get to explore many shops. Food & drinks: Nearby restaurants were great, but the breakfast at this hotel was just ok. We used to come for the breakfast and loved the biscuits and food that was included in the bed AND breakfast but it was no longer included in our stay and the biscuits and good food we came back for was replaced with small basic food and small portions that we had to pay for on top of our stay, which was over priced to begin with.
