Of course the air conditioning breaks down when the temperature is 90+ degrees! But Dennis came within a couple of hours of my call. He diagnosed the problem and had my system working again in just a few minutes. I was so pleased that I asked him to return for some related work. Again he was punctual, courteous and did the work at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend IV Season Mechanical, and have added their number to my contacts as my go to HVAC business. It was sheer luck that I chose IV Seasons Mechanical. I told Mr. Bennett that my A/C was not cooling, and that the blower was not pushing the air. He asked how old the unit was. I told him nearly 28 yrs old. He said that it would cost no less than $7,000. I said what am I going to do, I don't have that kind of money! Mr. Bennett said he needed to come over to Menards at the north end and he would stop by. He showed up about 10 minutes later, took a look and came to the door and said he thought he could repair it. Gave me a price and I said yes, fix it. So he and his apprentice son, left to go to Menards, and came back sometime later. He said the a/c unit was really dirty and was going to clean it and put new part on, sent his son inside to clean the furnace, where the filters lay, and I took the 2 filters ouside and cleaned them, they are metal mesh. All of a sudden, I felt cool air and the blower was blowing like new. Dennis said that ought to last you a few more years. It will outlast me. I rate this company 5 stars!!
