    I go in to this Store on Friday July 1 @ approx 1700 hours and purchased $58.56 in groceries. I proceeded to self checkout due to a line at the register. After I scanned everything, I proceeded to pay with my debit card. The computer was processing and and transaction failed and stated credit card was cancelled. I repeated this transaction 3 x and received the same message each time. The cashier noticed I was having issues and she stated they have been having issues with the self check out So i proceeded to cashier to scan my items. No big deal.....It happens. So I get home and I checked my checking account and noticed I was charged 2x for my groceries. Once again, it happens. I called dollar general and spoke to someone who claimed to be a manager on duty. I explained to said manager of what happened and the manager asked me if i had a receipt. I explained that I did not because the self checkout was not working. Then the manager on duty stated to me that it was my responsibility to keep my receipt and with a very disrespectful attitude. so yes I blew up and demanded this manager to contact higher up. The manager stated she would attempt and would contact me back. I received no return phone call. This morning I called Dollar General and spoke to the assistant maager and she told me to go to the bank and get a statement showing that I was charged twice and they would refund my money. I went to the Bank and received the print out. I then went to Dollar general. The same cashier was working that checked me out. So she told the Store manager that I was there. The store manager stated that I could wait until she finished checking out the other Customers. Fair enough. So when the Store manager got to me I gave her my bank tranactions . Then she started yelling at me and accusing me of discriminating against her employees. I asked her what does this have to do with discrimination??? She stated that the person I talked to on the phone last night was a female and since I was using "he" pronoun I was discriminating. Im sorry when I call and tge employee sounded like a guy with a guy name, Im assuming it was a guy I was talking to. So tell me how im discriminating??? So with her attitude and yelling at me in front of not only her employees but other customers and treating me like that is not called for and as of Tuesday morning, she will be walked out of Dollar General. I am a long time Customer at Dollar General and spend alot of money there. I refuse to be treated like that! If she does not get walked out, I will NEVER step a foot in another Dollar General as long as I'm living! I will pay extra to go to Walmart or Family Dollar! It is not ok to treat a loyal Customer the way I was treated!!!!
