Pallidan Tub Refinishing

Aaron likes to use the company van as a weapon. Pulls over to let you pass but as soon as you go to pass him he tries to push your vehicle into oncoming traffic. Good job Aaron! Appreciate you risking my 3 month olds life because you felt the need to road rage over nothing.

Finish peeling off ..Won't honor warranty. They said I let water get under it..isn't the finish supposed to be water proof

Great experience! This is our second time using the company, and the first guys estimate on how long our finish would last was spot on! The warranty lasted for as long as the finish did (and we are hard on our tub). He really knew his stuff. This is our second time using Pallidan to refinish our tub, and very pleased with service. Prompt, respectful, and really knew what they were doing. Tub looks brand new. They rescheduled for me the same week when something came up. Called early in the morning the day before to give me a heads up that they would be running late which I appreciated. Then, they arrived exactly when they said they would. Update: Peels quickly. We have the first peeling/chipping after just three months. I have updated my pictures to include the photo. The chipping is near the front of the tub, where no one gets in or out, so it's obviously material and workmanship contributing to this. We don't have young children, and spend time in different cities on weekends, so we don't use the tub this much, so I'm surprised the peeling is already beginning. I expect the other areas to follow shortly. tldr; Tub finish was mediocre and extremely overpriced; see the pictures below. I had the same exact procedure done in Chicago for 200 less, and there isn't any ring around my drain. The tub in Chicago is not peeling at all, and it is used much more. The bad: They broke the tiles surrounding my tub and did not say anything about this. They also didn't treat the drain, and there was a light brown stain, despite paying an up-charge of 50 dollars to have it removed. The first pictures is mailed from their own FB page. I was not home when the procedure was done---this was agreed upon by both Pallidan and I. They were happy to service me when I was out of town. Big mistake. They also add on credit card fees, but don't tell you until you pull out your credit card. So, be prepared. I was able to go get cash, but this is not something they mention when they quote you. This is not a business I would do work with or recommend based on my experiences right when I got the tub. Now, as of November, I see their product is not holding up.
