The cleaning house is ONLY a good place to go if you are LITERALLY on the street, and haven't eaten in a day or so...If you are trying to feed your family, this is NOT the place to do it, you mostly get way out of date food and rottin produce, you might get a good can good if you're lucky...Also the old people that work there are rude and make people feel some type of way for being there. Yet another place in Scottsburg that DON'T help people!

I will say the people are friendly, but I have never been to a place where they give out molded badly expired food almost every time I go Im throwing half away. You would think they would set it up where you can choose some things that your family would like so they can not waste reasources on a family that for instance has a peanut allergy or wont touch certain foods. I am grateful they are there to help but they need a better system. For a family of 4 to give a single little bottle of juice for 1 person. Or a packaged lunch meat that has only 1 piece inside the package, a 1 sub that has been sitting for a few days past expiration that wont even take the edge of hunger off of 2 people much less 4. The system they have is terrible. I only go when I absolutely have to due to our terrible economy right now so it is once every few months n every single time I get at least half the stuff I need to throw away its not consumable. Sorry to rant. Great people and not trying to sound ungrateful cuz Im not but theres a better way to do this.
