Initially, I was apprehensive about being a participant in Susannas project. You see, I do not like being photographed. However, after talking with her about the project, I realized it was more to it than just being photographed. It is about telling my story to possibly help others. This photoshoot was a great experience for me. Susanna takes pride in her work, which is reflected in the photographs she takes. Susanna thank you for your patience & revealing a small glimpse of my personality.

I appreciated how Susanna prepared me for the our upcoming session. She provided guidance on what to wear, not to wear, and what props may be helpful to bring my personality to life through the photo. It's clear that Susanna enjoys what she's doing and works hard to make you feel comfortable. My advice to anyone getting professional headshots for branding is to prepare a list of where you will use the photos (be specific) and find inspiration images prior to meeting with Susanna. Having a concrete use of the images after your shoot will help guide Susanna in ensuring you receive the best possible outcome.

Susanna was so well prepared to answer all of our questions and put my mother at ease before her photo shoot. The time she took to make our moms experience so special was obvious. When we went to view the pictures Susanna was extremely organized and made the process much easier. We have had the pleasure of having Susanna shoot our daughters senior pictures and had our mom participate in the project of capturing 50 women over the age of 50. As I was presented with this gift I was very apprehensive about having my picture taken. I had never had a professional photo taken, so I was a little concerned. However I received a phone call from Susanna and she explained everything and spent lots of time answering my questions. Susanna reassured me of what to expect. I arrived at her studio and was blown away by Susanna and her ability to make me feel completely at ease. She took her time and made me feel so comfortable. Then I received the phone call that my photo's were ready . I called my daughter and son to ask them to go to see the end results. I cannot believe the photo's were beautiful. I never liked having my picture taken. However Susanna brought out the best in me. Thanks again for making me feel so special. Susanna is an amazing photographer and great person! Her work is beyond compare. She somehow gets the best out of you when she photographs you. I did not expect to love my portraits, but I did! I highly recommend Susanna Tanner. Choose Susanna--you won't be disappointed!
