image I have lived at the same place 21 years. Nothing about my box placement has changed. In the past 2 years my service has progressively gotten worse. Within the past 2 months I sometimes don't get my mail or packages at all. I have contacted several of the businesses I receive packages from and on their end it shows being delivered they are now educated on the matter. I have placed several phone calls and gotten the answers I was looking for. If your package is posted out for delivery that just means it's been scanned. Contact everyone who uses USPS for delivery and request a more reliable service. Jennifer who is the postmaster will not give a straight answer. I was told my neighbors nor myself would receive mail if I did landscaping which included a fence blocking my driveway. I found out after contacting a different office in the Branch of USPS that I am not required to have a drive way for a carrier to turn around in, I'm on a rural road with 2 access points. I'm not on a dead end and my box sits facing the road on the correct side. Hence I can continue with my landscaping with myself and neighbors still successful in getting mail. I have requested .logistics to deliver as many packages in the future as possible. USPS is a dead branch of government offices and is no longer needed. If I could give the owensville post office and. the professionalism of its employees a minus 10 I would. We the customers who pay for delivery from all companies are not required to provide them with driveway access..
