        A 250 deposit was nothing. Ours was 450. They said it is based on the last 12 months worth of bills. Which should be 183 in our case. This is such a dissapointment because I used to love the gas company here in town. The men who come out to work on the gas meters are still pleasant at least.

        250 dollar deposit. wont give it back unless you meet their "criteria" but won't apply it to your bill if you get behind...what exactly is it for? oh yeah, to put in a bank account and draw interest. Good job "community" gas. Also, its 8:11, I've been calling since 8...but it's ok, who needs hot water after 250 dollars is basically stolen from you?
