The gravel roads leading to the firetower (Tower Ridge Road) are so poorly kept that they absolutely destroyed the lower control arms on my truck to where my steering wheel was clocked at 5:00 to drive straight. Three HUGE potholes are right where the pavement ends and the gravel road begins and almost impossible to see while driving towards the tower on Tower Ridge Road. The Tower was wonderful and so were trails, but beware. A trip down this road could cost you $1,100 like it has me. I likely won't go back until they've improved the roads.

A great place with a fabulous view. You can see a bit of Lake Monroe. The view is spectacular in the fall, assuming the leaves are worth looking at.
