Ron Greenwell Auto completely ripped off my 20 year old son. They sold him a 20,000 dollar car less than 2 weeks ago and the car is a complete lemon. They refuse to do anything to rectify the situation. He was so excited to bring home his dream car and the VERY NEXT morning after he purchased the vehicle it wouldnt start. Since then he has had a plethora of mechanical issues. This business is not trustworthy.

It was hard to leave this review because everyone that I worked with at Ron Greenwells was very nice, honest, and meant well. That being said I came to purchase a solid car and that is not what they had. Before deciding to to fly out to purchase one of the vehicles I was apprehensive because of the other reviews I have seen. I decided anyways to take a day off of work to fly out, Uber to Muncie from the Indianapolis airport, and test drive a car that I planned to buy (had a cashiers check ready to go). Luckily I decided to take it into a mechanic before purchasing for a quick vehicle inspection even though it test drove great with no apparent issues. The mechanic that I took it to let me know right away that the vehicle had multiple oil leaks which was a huge concern and red flag. The owner Ron, did not believe me that the vehicle was leaking oil until he put it up on his lift himself and saw the oil leaks. It shows that they do not check the vehicles out at all before selling them. I understand they no longer have a mechanic but a bare minimum vehicle inspection costs less than $100. I know that they were not trying to hide anything from me, they just did not do the due diligence of checking over a vehicle before selling it. I am now out a day of work, $140 in Ubers, $100 vehicle inspection, and two last minute one way plane tickets, with nothing to show for it.

Bought a 2013 Mustang from them about 2 weeks ago. The car is now dead in the water with a bad PCM, had a bad O2 sensor bad clutch safety switch and a busted transmission crossmember but when I called to inform them of the cross member being busted (which is what holds up the transmission and driveshaft from falling out from the car) I was told The guys wont want to do anything about that then got a call back maybe 20 minutes later being told they werent going to help me with the repairs and it was on me, was told I was going to receive a second key for the car which Im yet to receive and now the car will not start and Im out of a vehicle. Bad O2 Sensor busted cross member bad PCM bad clutch switch the car has the incorrect cold air intake but received nothing back but we wont do anything about it. Terrible place to purchase a vehicle from nothing but a bunch of crooks who wont even speak to you about the issues just continuously changes the subject to something else.

Called ahead to check if a car was still on the lot. They said it was so I told them I was coming in from out of town. When I got there it had just sold and they forgot to call me. Of course they had several other cars that were much worse deals that they were willing to sell me instead. Super shady and a waste of time. Only reason for two stars is the salesperson was very friendly
