Shafer Lakeside Resort

My wife and I were so amazed with our stay at Shafer lakeside resort the rooms were cozy the patio deck was spacious and the view of the lake was spectacular 5 stars all day long. The digital keypad on the door was a little confusing probably due to my age but I called the number for the resort who promptly walked me through the steps to get in. This was an amazing resort to stay at we will be doing it again in the future

We loved our stay at Shafer Lakeside Resort! This was our 2nd trip this year - our first visit was in the summer and we had a great time swimming in the lake. It's a beautiful, clean lake and the direct access to the water from the deck was perfect! Our room was clean, comfortable, and newly updated with everything you need-including a fridge, coffee maker and microwave. It was nice to have access to a grill on the deck too. The amusement park is just down the street, any easy walk from the resort. But I absolutely loved our second trip this past week, autumn on the lake with the beautiful old oak trees made for a perfect relaxing evening. I would highly recommend this resort!

The newly renovated rooms were very comfortable and had all of the necessities. They have a spacious deck with a grill, fire pit, and picnic tables perfect for hanging out by the lake. It's also a short walk to Indiana Beach. Great location, looking forward to coming back in the Summer.
