Alexander's Landing Resort

This was the most amazing experience, from the service desk to housekeeping. Phenomenal atmosphere great fishing Ive caught bluegill, crappie and the cat fish in the photos. They really treat everyone that stays here like family, I will miss this place but I will be back for sure. Rooms: Room was always clean and kept up nicely. Safety: Safety awesome, I never had one problem also place a lot of Amazon orders here and when I came back from work the packages were always at my room door.

We stayed for two nights in the Penthouse unit. It was clean, spacious and had a well equipped kitchen for cooking. Third time staying here..only issue this time was pool heater wasnt working. Hot tub was available though. We were able to use the grills and go fishing off the dock. We saw a bald eagle, lots of birds out on the lake, and a few cats roaming around. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of extra towels, pillows etc. All bathrooms had shampoo/body wash dispensers in shower and make up wipes on counter. There was coffee and popcorn in the kitchen for us, when we checked in. Beautiful views of the lake out front and a rollercoaster right behind the property. There are many stairs/steps to climb around the property, would not work well for people with mobility issues. Stay #2, 2024 : We stayed in the Celebrity Suite this time. It was clean and spacious. Good views of lake. The pool was warm, and hot tub was hot. Lots of towels available to use, and toys in the pool for kids. Kitchen was well equipped. Popcorn and coffee in unit to use, but coffee didnt taste good to us. Bowling alley 5 min away and a taqueria, for easy outings. Not all the windows had screens, including two bedrooms. It would be nice to get more screens, so we could open all the windows. It tended to be stuffy in the bedrooms at night. Here is the main issue: The unit above was quite noisy. The people upstairs sounded like they were literally diving off the furniture, scrapping chairs on the floor and just pacing around, WELL after 11pm. Honestly, they were incredibly rude to be ao loud in a shared space. It was terrible to try to sleep during all this, and due to this, I would never stay in this unit again. The Presidential is much better, after having stayed there last year. Not only does it have three bathrooms, but theres no one above u.

My dad was from Monticello and worked at Indiana Beach and was always on Lake Shafer as a kid. He passed in January and we had a Celebration of Life for him. My family stayed in the Penthouse and LOVED it! It was the perfect size for all of us. The kids loved the hot tub. Having 4 bedroom and 3 baths was the perfect size. The amount of seating between the kitchen island, living room couches and chairs and the dining room table was more than enough. Thank you for providing such an amazing place.

Dirty towels still hanging on the bath door. Hideabed had a bar in the middle and couldn't sleep on it. Charge for not taking out trash, and if dishes aren't washed. Bed had wheels on it a d rolled when you sat on it. $150 a night. Never again! And the door in the hot tub wouldn't close once opened.
