We absolutely loved our stay. There are 2 cabins. It's very quiet and private. The family was very welcoming and generous. They have a solar panel which powers a light inside the cabin. The bathroom has running water and a very large hot water heater. For breakfast they brought a tray with Katy's homemade cinnamon rolls and coffee. They are very filling. It is much like a camping experience on the outside with a fire pit. They also have deer on the property.

We wanted our children to experience the Amish culture instead of a hotel. These little cabins gave us the perfect opportunity!! It was simplicity at its finest. It took a little while to receive a return call simply because the owners do not keep a phone on them at all times; just leave a message they will return the call. Upon arriving we were warmly greeted by Firmin and brought up to view the cabins. We felt safe enough here that we allowed our oldest boys to stay in one cabin and us in the other on a hill in the woods behind their home. It has solar lights and running hot water...no A/C but we slept with the windows open and it cooled as the night progressed. We woke to a cool breeze and the sound of galloping horses...so so neat and memorable!! Make sure your children DO NOT leave the lights on while in town...there will be a surprise when you get back!!! Can't say how I know these things!!!
