2 years ago, LaPorte County had the privilege to work with Tonn & Blank Construction LLC on the renovation of the Michigan City Courthouse. The project was designed by American Structurepoint and Tonn & Blank was hired by the County as the construction manager. The Tonn & Blank team worked well with the county and the design team to cut costs where possible, saving time and money, and staying within the budget. The project began on time, was completed on time and finished under budget. It was a pleasure working with Tonn & Blank and their construction team. I would highly recommend them. Selecting Tonn and Blank as our design-build partner for the new Boys & Girls Club in Valpo was a great decision for us. Throughout the project, we were faced with material shortages and pricing increases, but they managed to complete the project ahead of schedule and within our original budget. We couldn't be happier with the relationship we've established with them.

Working closely with Tonn & Blank on the renovation of and addition to our Pulaski County Justice Center was a remarkable experience. As a community-development professional, I had no previous experiencing overseeing a construction project, let alone a multi-million dollar improvement to a public facility that houses important offices and functions, but found myself in these uncharted waters. From the president of the company down to our incredible project superintendent and the laborers working under him, Tonn & Blank ensured that this project succeeded in a timely and under-budget manner and that I was equipped with the necessary information at all times to make decisions or to report to our county commissioners so that they could make well-informed choices; their work for the people of Pulaski County is appreciated beyond words and a testament to the values that have driven this company for more than a century.
