Emma was kind and explained everything very well. She has a gift of being able to calm and soothe while still getting the job done.
If you are someone who feels like waxing will hurt too much, I would recommend working with Emma. I cannot praise her highly enough!

First time ever getting a bikini wax and I gotta say its painful but I could not have asked for a better person to walk me through it. Sydney at not your mommas studio is the absolute best. She made me feel so comfortable and confident. I recommend requesting her because she is a god send!

Emma did a great job, but the "60 minute" facial ended up being about 40 minutes, and for the price, there were definitely some things I would have expected to offer a higher quality experience.
When I booked the appointment I was told to wait in the car until someone came and got me. I have a truck so I didn't see the sign that says they'd text me, so it was 5 minutes after the scheduled time that I happened to check my phone and noticed the text to "come on in". When we went in, since it was my first time, I had to fill out paperwork, then there was a short conversation about my skin, then was just for several minutes to change, more than enough time. Plus they ended early to let me change. If it's a 50 minute facial, that's what they should call it, and have me come in early to fill out paperwork, or send it ahead of time online.
There were commercial interruptions to the music, and paper thin walls so you can hear everything going on outside and in the next room, watch certainly detract from a relaxing environment, and I had to request a knee pillow after me knees starting hurting, watch I've found to be standard for facials or massages.
Overall for the prices they are charging, they fall short of offering the experience they promise.
