        We hired A&K Painting and Remodeling to refinish our hardwood floors. Allen came out and estimated the work in person, sent an estimate, and we scheduled a start date. On the first day he required a $1000 down payment, which I paid. On the third day he and his helper showed up and complained about having to move items in order to refinish the floors. Remember that this was an in person estimate. After about 30 minutes of working on site they packed up, left, and have not returned any calls, texts, messages, etc. They have not returned the deposit, nor been willing to communicate on a price for work that was completed. I am now trying to find other contractors who can come in and take over where A&K Painting and Remodeling left us high and dry. I would not recommend them to anyone. Services: Wood staining, Wood varnishing, Wood painting, Deck painting

        Business says it is not their fault, but this was their address that looked like a landfill and I am still finding trash that blew around the neighborhood.
