Lakeside Lavender and Herbs

I love lavender and saw that there was a lavender farm in la Porte and I just had to check it out. I had a great time chatting with Doreen , she is an herbalist and makes lavender products, literally from start to finish . I bought and gifted a few products from her line , all was wonderful. She's awesome to talk with, you can feel the passion in her work. Mike her husband was busy working on the farm. Really enjoyed my time here .

My friends and I wanted to do some lavender picking and happened upon this farm and we were thrilled with our experience. Mike is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about lavender and shared with how to maintain and prepare it. He also took pictures for us and was incredibly personable. Just a really terrific small business

We went here for the first time for the festival which they advertised as having food. We brought our type 1 diabetic son. There was no food. Ice cream and pastries arent food. Thats dessert. The fields are underwhelming and the mosquitos prevalent where they have you park against overgrown trees. Disappointed.

A beautiful place to pick lavender. The owners are fabulous people. So sweet to chat with I enjoyed my visit and definitely will be back sooner then I think! I definitely recommend Lakeside Lavender Farm and they make their own products the lotion they have smells amazing
