Brian Scroggins Plumbing and Drain Cleaning

So I made a costly mistake this week... i went against my better judgement and went with Brian Scroggins plumbing for my plumbing issue. Now let me preface this by saying I believe the employee that came out today did a really good job for what he did. A flange repair kit was installed in my basement master bath. The old flange had one of the ears break off that holds the bolts to tighten down the toilet allowing the toilet to wobble quite a bit. That being said I'm not a fan of your decision to charge customers based on the level of work they are willing to pay for vs hourly. Your employee was here a little over 2.5 hrs and my total for the day was $913. That's considerable higher than the hourly rate I was quoted from a competitor. I might add that that was the "silver" service level that I chose. There were 3 other choices. The band aid, which I was told wouldn't fix it properly. That option was around $413 I think. The next option was bronze. That was in the $600+ price range and didnt include reinstalling the toilet, just the flange repair kit in the floor. I felt that in order to properly test the repair the toilet needed to be installed to make sure there were no leaks. So or a cpl hundred more I went that route. Thos also includes a 1 year warranty. There was another option.... the Gold option which I believe would have involved jack hammering the concrete floor to install a new flange. Brian again I'm happy with the repairs. So far so good as they say but $913 for 3 hrs of work???? Doesn't seem quite right from the customers point of view.

Was charged $ 871. No invoice provided to prove parts and labor. Wanted to discuss the issue, but he blocked me. He trampled nasty water thru my home. His partner, Chris did the same this place is a con operation. Beware!

Incredibly professional. Over the years, Brian and his crew have tackled big jobs and small. No disappointments. Always honest and fair. Tons of experience.. the only company Ill use
