Lori and Angie are the best. They both made my daughter very comfortable and happy. They both went to the moon and back for us. Exceptional customer service. They called back the next day to check up on my daughter after her surgery. Ill always recommend this surgery center. Keep up the good works Lori and Angie. Youre the best

IU Health Senate Street Surgery Center overcharges and refuses to give me a complete itemized bill. For a routine tonsillectomy, that took the doctor less than 30 minutes, I was charged $15,000. They refuse to work with me on a negotiated payoff. I am left with a bill of $5000 after insurance. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Senate Street Surgery Center was wonderful! My 13 year old had her tonsils removed and everyone on staff caring for her at the Surgery Center was amazing. They made sure she was comfortable, felt safe, and understood the process. After her surgery, they were careful to make sure she felt as comfortable as possible. They even called me to check-in to make sure she was doing okay as an outpatient. Highly recommend!

This would have been a at least a 4 star review, but then there was the follow-up call this morning.I have stage 4 cancer which has resulted in crippling back pain. Two days ago, I had the first set of spinal injections. It took four months to get on their schedule, which is absurd to begin with.Although IUH has all of my current info (including insurance... I was just in their hell hole that they call an emergency room the day before) I received non-stop automated calls from the billing office to "please wait while we connect you to someone to help." That someone never picked up. After waiting on hold three times for more than 10 minutes, I left a message for them to stop calling.At the Surgery Center, everyone was kind and efficient. I was in and out within about an hour and a half. So, kudos there.This morning, I received a follow-up call from the Surgery Center. If you're familiar with IUH, they only care about what your pain level is on a scale from 1-10. Well, I couldn't answer that question because I'm not experiencing pain exactly, but rather the feeling best described as a low voltage electrical charge in the area of the injections.Being on chemo for nearly five years, at times, my mind isn't very clear and have some difficulty expressing myself.The follow-up call lasted exactly 4 minutes and 20 seconds. Before the line was disconnected, I heard the woman say to her coworker, "That was a long winded call!" WOW, REALLY?! So sorry to have been a bother to you, lady. My spouse was sitting next to me and heard it as well.I immediately called back and told her (I didn't catch her mush-mouth name) that I heard what she said. After a long pause, she lied and said she wasn't referring to me. Once she realized she was caught in her lie, she started throwing out apologies. I don't take apologies from liars and hung up on her.I left a message on the main line (which is only a recording) stayinyg that I wanted to talk to the director. We'll see if that happens. I also sent a message to IUH through the patient portal. I received an automated email stating that someone from the appropriate area would call. We'll see if that happens, too.From my experience over the past two years (aside from PT and my GI) IUH is the absolute worst. I would probably fall off my chair if I came across a doctor that actually cared or had any empathy. The same is true with most of the nurses.The following BS is from the Senate Street Surgery Center:"Your successful outcome is always our goal. You will be supported by expert staff and the highest standards of quality and safety." What a joke!
