Ball Hall

The RAs here are tight losers that never achieved anything and get joy out of your pain. The people that come here never wish to talk or engage in anything. If I could go lower I would I would never wish this pain amongst my worst enemy. Please pay the bit extra and go to tower which is where I spent most my time anyway.

Good dorm overall, but not too fancy. There's a gym in the basement, free laundry, and it's not very out of the way of most of the class buildings on campus. There's no bench press in the gym, though, only free weights and treadmills, and my door broke once, but overall not half bad.

Really bad dorm. There is no security in any of the hallways, no cameras, only camera is in the lobby. I would also recommend doing a google search to see crimes at IUPUI campus, as it is all public knowledge and valuable information. Every year there are deaths, vandalism, and crime that all occurs on this campus. The cleaning crew will clean the bathrooms, but when you go in there is almost always yellow liquid on the floors, and disgusting public shower areas. Lots of fingerprints on doors where they did not clean. To walk to class or to the Tower dining hall, it is 15 min walking down an extremely tight sidewalk, lots of homeless and drug addicts I encountered in this area. You will have to go across 3 separate crosswalks, where I was nearly injured in two separate cases while crossing on my turn to go. As Indianapolis is not safe, you can imagine some of the drivers not paying attention to people on the sidewalk. The social atmosphere is good, but if you want a comfortable, clean, and safe dorm, this is the wrong place to go. Feels like downtown Indy.
