    DO NOT RENT FROM VINEBROOK HOMES! This company will scam you. They rent out cheaply made houses and take advantage of the renters. They wont fix your needed repairs and they will not honor your contract when you are finished living there. Read the contract carefully. They will scam you.

    Id give them a zero if I could. Have been renting with this company for barely 2 months and it has been nothing but a nightmare. Agents/Employees are avoidant and very hard to get ahold of. Call center people are nice, but aren't able to help.

    We have lived here for 3 yrs and had to move because we had stairs and I became unable to go up and down them. At 1st the office help here (Marcella was great) but everyone else has not tried to help us. Now they won't fix garage door opener. Its a 2 car garage door and I'm unable to open it. They know this and refuse to fix it. They say we can pay for a new one. It's called resonable accommodations. A broken door opener is not reasonable.

    I have been renting my property for the third year and I have NEVER had as many issues living anywhere as much as I've had with this company. I was expecting this year and my baby was delivered a month early, no real cause. Because of this I was forced to go on leave early and after spending weeks in the hospital and trying to seek financial help since I was now out of work I applied for their new hardship program. The application only allows you to send in one document so you would have to email the rest. I sent in not only the last paystubs I recieved but also proof of any other income I have along with my leave letter. I have no other means and I have tried over 15 other resources without any luck just for them to tell me that i wouldnt be able to make my first payment based on what I turned in. Not inly is it ridiculous that you're required to make 3x the rent to qualify, which who the hell is making that when you keep going up on the rent and the cost of everything has increased so much anyone can barely get by. Now I'm about to have an eviction filed and I'm here with an 8 year old and an infant. Not to mention my leave is coming to an end and all I need is a break just for one month! This isnt the first problem I've had with them either but I won't indulge.

    Vinebrook is full of a bunch of unorganized,, nonchalance lazy individuals. Ive been them for at least 4 years. I need EVERYONE TO UNDERSTAND THIS. VINEBROOK. DOESNT. KNOW. WHAT. THEY. ARE. DOING. Or maybe they do. And they are just manipulating every one of their residents to get as much money out of them or viciously evict them. The office is never open. Or they close earlier than they are supposed to. Every time I go up to the office its always appt only. Which would be fine if SOMEONE WOULD ACTUALLY ANSWER THE PHONE AND KNEW HOW TO SOLVE A PROBLEM. Their turnover HAS TO BE 2 days. I have rarely seen the same person in the office so when I need help with issues, NO ONE CAN HELP because NO ONE EVER KNOWS WHATS GOING ON. Its always transfers and call backs, a loop of nothing getting done. And EVERYONE is trying to RUSH ME OFF THE PHONE and Im TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND FIX MY PROBLEMS. The house Im in is falling apart, citizens gas cant get to the pipes, they replace appliances with appliances that barely have life left in them. I recently have been facing eviction and have been trying to go through renters assistance. Went to court. Paid the fees. Set up a plan with them and vinebrook. Didnt matter. I had til the 18th to pay $1400, WHICH I HAD and the morning of, my water and heat are cut off. Its like they couldnt wait to have me out here struggling. So I CALL THEM AND NO ONE KNEW WHAT TO DO. Workers are lazy as heck. They kept saying they were going to push my message and transfer me. I kept telling them I NEED ONE THING ANSWERED. WHO AND WHAT EXACTLY NEEDS TO BE PAID. WHY DOES NO ONE KNOW. And EVERYONE kept trying to put me off as SOON as I mentioned eviction. It seemed like sabotage: they wouldnt let me pay by card, I mentioned by renters portal, log into renters portal IMMEDIATELY they SHUT DOWN; so I pulled up to the office around 4:20 AND THEY WERE CLOSED. ON A WEDNESDAY. I literally BANGED ON THE DOOR FOR 10 MINUTES until one woman answered ANNOYED. Everyone was just in there CHILLING. I had recently been up there earlier that day to tell them I would be back. THAT woman seemed annoyed when I was trying to clarify that she would ACTUALLY be there, because I know how they do. I show up and 4:20 (banging on the door) and that SAME WOMAN IN THE BACKGROUND SAYS oh, I forgot he was coming back. WOMAN MY LIVING SITUATION IS ON THE LINE. I go in. They are looking at documents BEFORE I WENT TO COURT telling me I OWE MORE THAN I DO LIKE I DIDNT PAY WHAT I PAID AT COURT. Again NO ONE KNOWS WHATS GOING ON OR EVEN BOTHERS TO CARE. While I was up there I decided to get some clarification on my bills and what is included. Because here, it seems to change A LOT. DEAD MISSION. They preceded to tell me that EVERY HOUSE WAS SET UP DIFFERENTLY AND THEY HAD TO CHECK. why is every house set up differently????? So is water included or not? BECAUSE MY WATER IS CUT OFF. I randomly get letters from citizens gas and they were included at some point but now they are not???? Can SOMEONE HELP THEM HELP ME. Anyway. Water and heat still cut off, rent is paid but lets hope they didnt throw my money order away or misplace it or someone took it home on accident because they literally can NOT GET ANYTHING DONE AND THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR RESIDENTS.
