I'm giving this company one star because even though my therapist is awesome and does help me, in my experience her front desk coworker isn't responsible enough to be accountable I had confronted her about the issue I held and she didn't do anything, she didn't take me seriously at all and even attempted gaslighting me Right after I confronted her about how I felt She followed up saying "I don't know anything" She then proceeded to ask me "if I wanted to talk to someone else" it frustrated me to the point of leaving, imagine being at your job and not helping a patient asking if they want a different staff member to help them in an unempathetic annoyed manor I find that very unprofessional and lazy This woman didn't take me seriously and treated me as if I was crazy and wasn't worth the time I love my therapist but I feel this is necessary and important to put in here because that woman did not take any accountability what so ever Down to a point to where I felt like having to take initiative doing this Other people who NEED REAL HELP don't deserve that treatment and deserve to be warned, it may not be worth your time

I had an incredibly rewarding experience with Dr. Butler and Leah Pyle, LCSW. You could tell they really had a heart for what they are doing and care about their patients as a human and not just a number. I have had a long road with my mental health journey, seeing the entire spectrum of clinical expertise for nearly two years. Countless therapists, NPs, MDs, diagnoses - you name it - I saw them all. When I was still struggling after multiple different interventions, my PCP made a referral to Eskenazi which is close to where I live. I met with a therapist for a few visits and then found my FAVORITE Dr of all time, Dr. Butler. It was a tough road but that's because mental health is - and Dr. Butler really reviewed my history and made new recommendations. She took a comprehensive approach to my mental health and really made me feel like I could trust her and that she cared. We only had to do a couple of different med changes and I feel like a completely new person. I attribute this to her clinical competency and compassion for her patients. Managing and improving mental health does NOT happen in one visit. It is a process, but trust the process!

Tonya Butler, DNP approached me at the front desk when I was going to pick up my short term disability extension form on Jan 30th and told me to sit down and wait... When I was picking up documentation for my son at the window as well. Provider held my short term disability form hostage for 16 days, knowing I need it to get my income. Provider denies getting my phone call on Jan 23rd asking for my paperwork, when there is a telehealth visit in portal asking for my documents. Sent provider a portal message on Jan 27th asking her to call me to fill out patient report section of my paperwork and to advise I wasn't ready to return to work due to mental health and PTSD symptoms. Provider lead me back to her office with no explanation or appt scheduled only to have her male manager waiting inside as she verbally attacked me and accused me of not needing to stay home from work, when she also said I wasn't making "any progress" with my therapist. When I advocated for myself she interrupted and silenced me. Manager said I need IOP therapy elsewhere, but my therapist offered CPT 2 times a week. I was told I can no longer see my counselor 2 times a week, and they need to see progress on my screening scales. What the heck? So they can see I am in crisis, and yet DNP Butler changes my whole short term disability application to not only undermine the therapist who recommended I be off work, but she contradicts her own assessment that I need more intensive therapy than they can offer me. Even tho they get $600 from my insurance for each therapy session, bc they charge a $400 dollar facility fee on top of the $200 therapy session charge. My therapist and my son's are amazing, but this system is toxic and bullying with medical providers that revictimize the vulnerable by using their power over them, which NP Butler described as a power struggle... When I told her it is only her that has the power, so i refuse to ever schedule with her again. I am trained as a recent APRN graduate and she doesn't practice patient centered or collaborative care, nor even listen or believe a patient. She even accused me of taking her time and my therapists time, when the manager had to call her in to the "ambush" meeting and have my counselor express her view that I should stay home from work due to my crisis situation and symptoms. The escalation was caused by NP Butler and no one else, as well as involving everyone and taking everyone's time. NP Butler didn't believe me when I told her one medication caused me to gain weight and didn't warn me of any of the side effects of the med she prescribed, including low blood sodium levels. I requested my short term disability paperwork to be filled out by my therapist, and the NP said she had to fill it out bc she was the medical provider and the paperwork was rejected by the company for being incomplete and incongruent to the original application filled out by my therapist. She even had my wrong job title on it. She sent it in against my request saying I should just go back to work with no explanation, and the paperwork didn't reflect any of the therapists evaluation of me. Avoid her at all costs as she shouldn't be practicing medicine, let alone treating patients with trauma. She has some personal vendetta vs patients who are on short term disability and get financial support, bc there is no logical reason for her to come after my benefits like that.

image I'm giving this company one star because even though my therapist is awesome and does help me, in my experience her front desk coworker isn't responsible enough to be accountable
I had confronted her about the issue I held and she didn't do anything, she didn't take me seriously at all and even attempted gaslighting me
Right after I confronted her about how I felt
She followed up saying "I don't know anything"
She then proceeded to ask me "if I wanted to talk to someone else" it frustrated me to the point of leaving, imagine being at your job and not helping a patient asking if they want a different staff member to help them in an unempathetic annoyed manor
I find that very unprofessional and lazy
This woman didn't take me seriously and treated me as if I was crazy and wasn't worth the time
I love my therapist but I feel this is necessary and important to put in here because that woman did not take any accountability what so ever
Down to a point to where I felt like having to take initiative doing this
Other people who NEED REAL HELP don't deserve that treatment and deserve to be warned, it may not be worth your time
