Michael McCormick is extremely knowledgeable coupled with a genuine kindness. Over the years, my business has used several CPA firms. His practice is very reasonably priced and the communication is very good. I paid less with McCormick that I did at two other large firms and he produced the work more quickly. The office is a relaxed atmosphere whereby one feels comfortable. I'll continue to give all of my personal and business tax work solely to Michael McCormick. I wish I had went to him when I first started my business, I would have been better prepared and less anxious. He doesn't simply prepare your taxes, he provides valuable guidance which I found unmatched.

As someone who is not a tax expert, I rely on the pro's to help me come tax season.  I found Mike via Yelp and gave him a call.  His team promptly called me back within 24 hours to schedule an appointment.  With COVID, all work was done over the the phone.  I dropped my documents off 24 hours prior to our scheduled call (with zoom also being an option).  On my "tax day" Mike called exactly at the scheduled time, reviewed all of my documents, asked questions, and answered all of mine!  He additionally passed on some helpful tax tips that I will be implementing this upcoming year.The entire staff was friendly, flexible, and transparent with communication.  The process start to finish took about 7 days, with updates provided along the way.  At the end, I was given a detailed packet of my information and was encouraged to call anytime with any questions.  Will absolutely be using this team again!

After my Mother passed I needed a tax accountant to process the necessary tax documents I was required to complete. I had spent time researching the required forms but it was major confusing for me. Next, I searched the Yelp app to find a competent tax account. Brittany S. had used Michael in the past with a good review. A referral was suggested so I contacted Brittany S. who quickly contacted Michael. Thank you Brittany. Michael is located in the Fountain Square area with a small parking lot and street parking. Due to the pandemic we have never met face-to-face. I spoke to Michael via phone and we discussed the documents I needed. He was great to work with and thoroughly answered many questions I had related to the estate. Mom lived in Texas and several accountants turned me away due to the fear of out-of-state paperwork. Michael didn't hesitate for a second.I was met by a masked colleague  at the front door when I dropped off the paperwork. There's a small drop slot in the door plus a two-top table outside the door to sit and sign paperwork when required. If paperwork doesn't fit through the door slot they will open the door to hand-off paperwork.When he completed the taxes and required documents I was contacted to sign the necessary forms with a colleague outside. This was just two months after Covid-19 closed non-essential businesses. All safety measures were taken for clients and staff. Clients were not allowed inside the building due to the pandemic. I found Michael easy to work with, knowledgeable, personable and efficient. My paperwork was completed timely and I found comfort in knowing it was prepared properly. I would highly recommend Michael if you need an accountant.
