I think there are some genuinely good people here, but sometimes even the best people fall for religious abuse & manipulation tactics. This is a cult. I hate to say it, but it's true. After all these years, I had to come back and read the reviews and see that it has still not changed. People are still commenting about the same behavior and red flags I witnessed at my time there - so I decided to leave an honest review as well. It's 2024, we don't need to be enabling this behavior any longer. It's time to hold any hypocrites accountable. I came to this church because I entered into their recovery program and the very first service was about tithing. Every single service for a month straight was about giving money to the church. The sermons just felt shallow and forced, they didn't flow from divine source. When you're truly connected to God, you will not be fooled by the wolves in sheep's clothing. While I was in the recovery program, as a woman I was forbidden from wearing pants, I was not allowed to get a job like the men in the program... Even though they made us women work for them for free, in the basement of the office building. We worked 7 hours a day, 5 days a week on the computers with no pay. Not to mention they also made us deep clean their buildings once a week, as well as iron their clothes. They forbid us from listening to music. It was truly unacceptable, it didn't reflect the true teachings of Christ. I still remember how on Saturday they would make us get up early in the morning and go knock on people's doors for the hundredth time for "soul winning Saturday" ... The reviews from ticked off people on this thread aren't lying - the staff made us go to the same neighborhoods every weekend. It didn't feel right at all. I'm so thankful to have cut the ties with this place.

I like this church but my child had gotten LICE about a week ago. You can only imagine or ask yourself if anyone cleans around this church.They gotta make VISITORS aware of this too. Whoever is in charge please do this immediately. Someone must be hired to sanitize or disinfect these churches. I'm definitely not coming for awhile .
