Great business! They always cut my wife's hair well and made her look even more beautiful after each visit. The staff is super nice and makes you feel at home. The team works well together and it is an overall great environment. They do have a cancellation fee so just keep that in mind if you need to cancel or make a last-minute change. We moved to a nearby town and forgot to cancel the appointment but the staff helped us recoup half of that to line up with their policy. So long story short, they are willing to work with you. Overall, I am pleased with our experiences at The Studio Salon & Spa in Greenwood and would recommend to anyone looking for a hair stylist in the area!

I came here to have my hair done, I first went in for a consultation and showed pictures and explained what I wanted done.. she seemed like it was an easy task and wouldn't be a problem and seemed to understand what I wanted. I was super excited, the day came I went in and I again showed pictures and expressed what I wanted. She said okay. After 4 hours my hair was done, after drying it.. my hair was exactly what I didn't want at all, the color and highlights were not what I asked for,actually much darker than it was when I came in. Not to mention the roots were not even touched, they had an inch of hair not touched.. she told me to come.back tomorrow and she would fix the roots and add blonde to lighten the color. I went in and she added foils, the blonde is lighter (little closer to what I asked for) but the bleeding and the roots are still horrible, especially in the front. I don't feel paying the high prices for hair should be expected if you can't get get what is asked for. I wish I could leave a good review but unfortunately with how my hair turned out I just can't, I have even had others mention things about the roots and bleeding

The studio salon and spa charge top prices for low quality experience. At my first visit I discovered that they have very young and non-certified "assistants" that help with coloring, shampooing and drying hair. At my visit for color and cut, the assistant was left alone to complete the toning, shampoo, drying and flat ironing my hair. While I was being shampooed the assistance was "yelling" to other workers how to beat a level of a game on their phones. While my hair was being dried, conversations were directed toward other workers, and I felt that my hair was getting very little attention. The assistant also flat ironed my hair and the iron was run multiple times over the same hair because she was talking. I have had 2 hair appointments and a brow appointment and have been very unimpressed with appearance of staff. When I am buying a service for my appearance, I expect my stylist and all those involved to reflect at least professionalism but ideally stylish appearance. On my brow appointment, I discovered my esthetician graduated 2 months prior and I was being charged top $$$$ for her services. Her experience was evident with no comb used on my brows and no reshaping. My brows had the same shape and just barely cleaned up on the edges. Her appearance was very unprofessional. Room was very cold. I wasn't asked to take my coat, but I probably wouldn't have taken off if she asked for it. The girls are nice but "nice" does not make a business. If I could give some suggestions: please lower prices to match experience, do not use assistants, (it gives the appearance and an experience of cheap labor) and have a uniform or expectations of staff appearance. I tried very hard to like this salon because of location. I try to give a business a chance and support locals. There are so many good reviews that I expected better service for the $$$$. The main reason for this review is to hopefully give a picture of my experiences at the Studio Salon & Spa that would have saved me time and $$$$.
