Words fail to express my gratitude for the experience I had with Sacred Journey Midwifery. Its a wonderful and fortunate resource for the community to have a practice of not one but TWO well-experienced certified nurse midwives. It is obvious that Lauren and Betsy are determined to redefine the experiences many women have with their care providers. Instead of rushed office visits, both Lauren and Betsy shared their wealth of knowledge each visit and encouraged my questions and concerns. My aches and pains were never brushed off as a typical occurrence in pregnancy, I was always offered options of resources and solutions. I was more than glad to drive 45min to and from their office, knowing that every visit was made worth it. I greatly appreciate the autonomy I had in every decision as their client. I was encouraged to share my birth preferences so that my team and I had the same goals. I knew I loved Lauren before starting care at her practice, having had her mentor the start of my own career in labor and delivery. Ive come to love Betsy over the course of my prenatal care and especially for attending my birth where without her I couldnt have achieved my goals that gave me a redemptive and empowering experience I needed.

You will not find any higher care in your pregnancy! Lauren and Betsy truly care and will go above and beyond any healthcare you have ever had. They are a prime example of what quality care actually looks like. I so appreciated their knowledge of both modern and natural medicine. I credit my full-term twins to their advice and knowledge.
