        You cannot file a police report unless there is an officer in the parking lot. Dispatch DID send someone to take my report, but apparently a homeowner cannot file a report if a car on their property was broken in to. Only the car owner can do that. I've had multiple problems at my address but it made no difference. I TRY to file reports every time, but I keep hitting stonewalls.
