Want to start by saying last year I got a pair of boots from Red Wing and I would give them a five star the salesman was great. But my experience yesterday wasn't up to par, I was the only one in the store with three sales employees. They would not even come from behind the counter to help me. At first they just pointed towards the boots like there they are. Maybe it's because I had a company voucher, I can only speculate. It wasn't until I asked for more assistance that they came to assist me. I then told him I want the same boots I got last year, but they didn't have my size 9.5 EE. So they pointed me to another pair, again didn't have my size. I settled on the third pair, went to check out their card reader wouldn't take my card for the additional $21. I ended up leaving with a wrong sized pair of boots that I didn't want, no insoles because I was never even offered to be measured for them. I should add, the salesman did say he could order my boots and I can come back to the store another day. I'm not trying to make 2 trips to a store that's not convenient for me.. Here's an idea, next time you don't have the size somebody needs how about Red Wing specially delivers them to their house. I mean that's what you're asking me to do to make a special trip. If not for the company voucher Red Wing would not have my business again.

Bought a pair of Irish setters here about 5 months ago. The waterproof, non-slip shoes tread wore down to the fabric in 3 months time. They also were not watertight as my socks were wet every day after work(Costco deli). I took them in and got them replaced with a pair of Worx boots free of charge, just paid the difference in price. Great, Im a happy customer again. Except now these boots are letting in water through a seem on the left side of mm right boot, even in not very wet conditions. I took these boots in about a month after I got them and I was referred to a cobbler. I understand it may look like Im trying to get free boots and work the system here. But I wouldnt have to look that way if this place could sell me a decent pair a boots. I have paid 200$ for wet feet and 3 total trips to the store and 2 trips to a cobbler. So yeah, 2 stars.

Quite literally wore a pair of Irish Setters from my house to my car, began driving in them, realized I didn't like them, turned around, and went back from my car to my house to change my boots and re-begin my journey to work. Apparently walking 50 feet total in my boots was enough to consider them "too worn" to exchange. Absolutely ridiculous that they'd do this to someone who has worn Red Wing boots the last 5ish years. Waste of around $250 on my end. Definitely going to be finding a new brand of boot to wear going forward. I just want to really emphasize that I literally wore the boots for longer inside of their store than I did outside of their store. If my boots were too worn to return, then they were already too worn to sell to me in the first place. Editing to add pictures of the boots that were too worn to return after wearing them for 50 feet. There isnt even a single mark on them.
