Although my wife and I have purchased several homes, we had not been in the housing market in recent years. When we set out to purchase our dream home, we quickly discovered that the rules had changed. To get the home we wanted at a price point we could afford, we needed to a present a credible offer to the seller with as few contingencies as possible. Our relator introduced us to Dan Bergman with New Rez. Dan capably counseled us on the options available to accomplish our goal. A few days later, Dan provided us with a pre-qualification letter that accompanied our offer to the buyer. After the offer was accepted, the underwriting process went smoothly, largely because Dan had been thorough in assembling our documentation during the pre-qualifying process. Final loan approval arrived without a hitch and we were able to close in under a month from the date of our accepted offer. From the moment of our initial consultation through the day of closing, Dans advice was insightful and effective. He kept us informed at every stage of the process and delivered on what he represented. Although the housing market had changed, the financing aspect was easier and less stressful than it had been in the past.
