Hi Angela. I'm very sorry you feel this way, however, I'd like to clear the air on a few things. First of all, we weren't around for your rehearsal dinner. We were there long enough to open our facility take a payment from your husband and come back to lock up for the night. I was kind enough to let the rehearsal happen even with the full balance not being able to be paid that evening, instead taking your fiancés word that it would be taken care of the next day. During your rehearsal, you all moved things off the wall, that I told you during our intital meeting was not to be moved. The only other thing that I wouldn't let you all do, is move things we had stored from under the buffet line. I run a business and you don't get to come and force me to change things that will disrupt daily operations. You got upset and we heard you complaining to your husband that you didn't want to have black on the buffet line, I even suggested layering your preferred linen over the top, and you refused. Then when I wouldn't budge for you, you went to someone else and they approached me. I told her no, suggested the same things, and at that time also mentioned that I had already bent on other things and pointed out the decor you had moved that wasn't supposed to be moved. Outside of 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after, I wasn't around for your rehearsal. I interacted with you maybe 3 times. When you arrived I said hello to you, when you were trying to get me to move items that were stored under the buffet line (which by the way, at our 30 day out meeting mark could have been discussed but you stayed outside instead of coming in to discuss needs for the day of) and finally, when we come back to lock up, I approached you and said "hey, we are just here to lock up". Funny thing is, one of your helpers thought it was you saying that. As far as making you cry. About 30 minutes before your ceremony, I was made aware that you were breaking not only my contract but the law. Because bringing alcohol onto the premises is illegal and me not wanting YOUR wedding to be ruined, I come into the bridal suite and started my conversation with "I don't want to be the person who brings bad news" but the outside alcohol had to be removed and put in a car. That it was illegal and I didn't want excise to show up and shut it all down. This would have been the second time it had to be told that day. My husband told your fiancé which would have made the 3rd time for the day, the exact same things when I told you. Now, if that made you cry, I apologize, but I will never turn a blind eye and risk a brides wedding. I'm honestly shocked that you would think that risk was worth it and potentially getting caught and not being able to go through with your wedding ceremony/reception. I really do hope the best for you and Jordan moving forward. It was great meeting you both and your wedding really was beautiful.
