This is a cautionary posting for others. Attached are photos of communication with Consumer Protection for my unresolved complaint. I had been a client for more than ten years.
An audit found errors in my taxes. An unexpected bill for thousands of dollars including penalties and interest arrived in the mail. I wrote Tracey that ethically she needs to reimburse me the penalties and interests. She refused.
I asked the IN Attorney General to investigate. My complaint and the records were reviewed. The office offered to mediate a resolution. Tracey refused mediation services offered by the IN Attorney Generals office, the highest ranking legal counsel in the state. I asked the office how often people refuse their invitation. I was told this was an uncommon decision.
As an alternative I asked Tracey to agree to arbitration. I offered to pay for arbitration if she was found not at fault. She will not participate.
