I have bought from dozens of hibid auctions and have never had this happen before. I always just bid the most that I want to pay (max bid) and check back in later to see the results, at this auction I won several items but the surprising part was that every single item that I won was at my max bid or the difference was less than the bid increment. I then started doing some checking and found the following under terms and conditions. Ralph Smith Auction Realty LLC reserves the right to bid on behalf of the Seller and the Buyer. I was shocked to see that Ralph Smith auctions may bid for the seller but after some more investigation I was even more shocked when I found that in a hibid auction the AUCTIONEER HAS ACCESS TO YOUR MAX BID. I felt like a poker player who discovered that they had been playing in a game with marked cards. So if you want to bid at a auction that can see your max bid and tells you that they may bid for the seller this is your place.

I was fortunate enough to win some items on their online auction site. One of the items that I won was a area rug. Upon arrival the area of rug was beneath a piano. This team pulled together lifted the piano so I can get the area rug that day. Amazing service, super friendly people, and the even help me out the door with a few of my items. I highly recommend Ralph Smith Auction realty

Not happy with the process whatsoever. Not organized, didn't clean out the fridge beforehand, pictures were not infomative and their helpers were underage kids who were sick at the time and having them be around customers. Bad experience all the way around. Please, try better for your customers.
