        In this age of malls drying up its surprising to me that I can still encounter a store that wants to be so snooty. I purchased an item that was on sale and the salesman actually asked me if I had a credit card I could put it on, he was distinctly implying I didn't have a card. So, I whipped out my gold Amex. He made a pinchy face. I told him, I have money because I buy things on sale. He was not amused. Needless to say, if I want anything from Macy's again, I'll be buying online.
