Paid on 9/24/2021 for F & P to install a walk in showerattentive dates were 12/17-12/31. Today is 1/6/2022 and I had to contact the company for an update. I feel that is very unprofessional for the company to not reach out to their customers when installations are late to provide the paying customer with an update. The lady I spoke with was very unconcerned. We have had several projects serviced through Home Depot and this is the worst experience yet. I explained to the consult rep on 9/24 that my husband is a stroke patient and the walk in shower is a necessity. We will not be using this contractor for any future projects. Service: Remodeling

Signed a contract with Home Depot for a bathroom remodel. Bath Envy was their preferred contractor to do the work. Till now it has been a terrible experience with Bath Envy as they kept delaying the start for one reason or the other. After many requests to Home Depot and Bath Envy they finally confirmed the install. Before the start we had to reschedule so that the work is not left incomplete over the weekend. They promised to complete the work over the weekend but never did. Never bothered to call and say they will not complete the work on Saturday as promised. The installer was good and hard working but unfortunately he had not taken COVID vaccinations so we had to stop work when we found out. We are senior citizens with medical issues and could not take risk. No response till date as to when they will complete. Service: Remodeling

We scheduled an appointment for an estimate for a walk in shower almost 2 months ago at Home Depot in Marion, IL. I am a candidate for a total knee replacement so a walk in shower is a must. Deb from F & P called the day before our appointment to confirm. She asked me all the routine Covid questions one is usually asked when entering a medical facility. It caught me completely off guard so I went ahead and answered the questions. Then she told me their rep would be masked during the inspection and estimate and anyone in our home, including my husband and I, would have to be masked the entire time. I told her I didn't have a problem if they were masked but they didn't have the right to demand that we wore one in our own home and I found it offensive that they told us we had to. She said in that case they would have to cancel, which was disappointing because I had waited so long to get an estimate. They should have told us this when they made the appointment but after reading nothing but bad reports on this website, I will consider it a blessing. Home Depot needs to take a hard look at who they recommend as contractors.
