        Krys and his company Aquascapes of Michiana are fantastic! They redid my backyard landscaping and added a bubbling rock which works great after 4 years and sounds amazing in the warm months! I would highly recommend hiring Krys for all your outdoor landscaping and water feature needs!

        This is not the place to go to have a pond serviced. Consider this portion of their website to be false advertising: "Service & Maintenance Its a dirty job, but we are always ready to do it. From a leaking pond, pump replacement, or rebuilding an entire water feature. We have the experience and resources to get you back up and running, make suggestions on how to maintain your water feature, or make your old non-working water feature into the master piece of your backyard. We also provide services to clean your water feature in the spring, shut it down in the fall. We can also maintain your water feature during the season for you, that way you only need to enjoy the water feature of your dreams without the hassle of maintenance." I submitted a form to have someone come out and look at a pond we inherited when we moved in. We had some work done on it, but felt like we could do better. The owner wasn't event willing to consider looking at our pond; only responded with a "Good luck." Sad.

      Ma'am, we did not simply say "good luck". We advised you to contact the person that built the pond for repair and maintenance. In our experience when dealing with ponds that have not been professionally built or maintained (you said a "day laborer" had rebuilt it, made it larger, and redid the plumbing a few years ago) it is a much more affordable and simpler solution to go back to the person who built it. While there are industry standards to how ponds are built, there are no binding standards that the average contractor has to follow. Your email contained several red flags as to the integrity of the pond that was built. The work we do is not one size fits all, not all ponds can be repaired as much as we would like them to be. Poor construction does not lend itself to quick fixes. I apologize that you were not satisfied with that answer. We are not in the business of putting band-aids on sinking ships, especially when fish are involved that need a safe habitat to live in. Because you did not indicate you were interested in having the pond rebuilt, we did not push that option. And your quick angry response to our first email advising you to contact the person who did build it, and now this quick post of a one-star review would indicate that you were not actually interested in what work would be needed for your pond but only in getting the answer you wanted to hear.
