        Horrible. They didn't listen to our many concerns with our 9 year old daughter over the last year. She ended up in the ER last December and was found to have a cancerous tumor on her kidney. She had surgery to remove both the tumor and kidney. Now she is going through chemotherapy at Comers. They won't even help us with dealing with the insurance company, or even seem to care at all. Not happy with Doctor Albright or the staff.

        We had a 3:15 appointment and wait for over an hour to see the Dr. Pathak. My son let her know all his physical symptoms and she didnt even examine him. She basically said I think you might have anxiety you should see a therapist. Normally if someone has stomach pain and frequent urinalysis that came out of no where a dr. Would usually feel there stomach and do a thorough examination but there was none of that. She seemed like she was just in a hurry to go to the next patient. Take my word dont go see her unless you want to get rushed out or not helped. She gave no written instructions or follow up. If you do decide to go to kids first please see Dr. Stroman.

        Idk what the deal is, but they keep sending the medication we need to the wrong pharmacy. This time, it's a pharmacy over an hour from us. And when we need refills, it takes weeks sometimes to get them. The doctor is good, but the front office could use some tightening up. We also get calls the medication was sent, then we go to the pharmacy and they tell us they never got the order. It's 2024 almost and they need to do better

Adding to that the difficulties & frustrations of having to deal with insurance company authorizations, approvals, paperwork & bills makes everything so much worse- especially when you are just trying to get your daughter the care she needs. Please know that we are here to help. Please do understand that often authorizations and approvals by insurance may be out of our control especially when we are not the provider care was sought from and/or care has been provided in locations not covered by one’s insurance. Please reach out to us as soon as possible on our nurse line so we can go over how we may be able to help. We are here to help how we are able & will do our best to assist you.

Dr's were on vacation at this time and Dr Pathak was doing her best to make sure everyone was seen. Please do know that our physicians are available after hours and visit information is also on the patient portal. Please let us know anytime you have questions or concerns not addressed.       We are very sorry to hear of your poor experience. Very sorry to hear what you are describing and we want to help. Please reach out to us directly to assist. Some info you may find helpful- Medication refills are completed on the patient portal where the pharmacy is chosen by the patient/caregiver for each refill request. The medication is then approved by the doctor & sent by e-prescribing to the pharmacy selected during the request process & delivery to pharmacy verified electronically. We can provide confirmation of delivery to pharmacy if they say they haven't received it. Some medications may present an issue with insurance, or may be out of stock requiring a change to another pharmacy that has it available, which is first confirmed with patient/caregiver before being resent. We are here to assist in any way we can. Again please contact us anytime you are having issues by calling, text, patient portal (or if urgent and after hours by calling your doctor cell/the office and selecting your doctor!).
