The service call fee includes travel, and diagnosis up to 1 hour, and not the repair. Most often, mobile techs cannot possibly carry every tool and part on our trucks for every camper and every situation. Return visits are necessary to complete repairs or sometimes, I will refer people to service centers for more complex repairs which can’t or shouldn’t be performed on site. Your impatience didn’t allow me to do either. I’m sorry you were offended by the $140.00 service call fee for which we worked for over an hour to properly locate and evaluate your gas leak. Maybe all service technicians should plan on providing services to you for free because it seems that this is what you expected from me. Now, you want to damage my reputation on my Google profile by posting partial facts. I have provided services to many customers, and you are the first who has misunderstood that a fee for services is involved even though it was explained to you on your initial phone call.Cracked gas line repairs are rare. They are a major life, safety, and liability issue. That is why many places will not do them. Verifying liability coverage for this type of repair was the responsible thing for me to do. It protects you from damages and me from litigation. Waiting for this verification, a return visit, and additional repair charges were not acceptable to you.
