Danville Regional Rehabilitation

My brother in law is currently in rehabilitation at this facility. The facility itself is very nice, clean and easy to find. The staff is awesome especially the health care providers. They go out of there way and way above to make him comfortable. They respond within minutes of him calling them. They are very friendly and accommodating to the family when we visit twice a day.

Slow response from nurses. Seems to be very short of help. Seemed to be highly recommended, I am not impressed at all so far. I do wish they would keep the patient more informed. Day 2 Much better, nurse and aid seemed more concerned and pleasant toward the needs of my wife. I will increase my rate to 3 star and keep abreast.

It is difficult to rate a facility which became a part of our lives so suddenly. However, I will try and express my immediate thoughts as clearly as possible. Let me start with the admissions director, Trina. I dare anyone to find a more gentle, loving and caring person in an administrative position than Trina. She has been my mothers champion since her arrival and a surrogate sister for me. Recovery from Covid and pneumonia as well as from gallbladder surgery, all at the age of 93 and then having to emotionally deal with the sudden death of my father would, unsurprisingly, be a daunting challenge for any rehabilitation facility. But DRRC has done its best to keep my mother striving to get well enough to come home. Nothing is perfect and the problem of understaffing is as evident here as everywhere else in the medical profession. That being said, I know first hand how all the nurses, aides and therapists work diligently to hopefully get their patients back to their families as quickly as possible. So thank you DRRC for being there when we needed you most and continuing to keep my mom on a positive track to wellness.

We put my Mother-in-Law in Danville Rehab for therapy and a test run to see how she would do being in a nursing home. Now we live in Greenfield IN, however after the reviews we decided to drive to Danville and let me tell you that was the best decision we ever made not only is it only 15 min from work, but the staff there was amazing from the first minute we was there they made her feel welcome and comfortable about being there. She is a dementia patient and they were so caring about her needs and wants she loved the food there she is had to please when it comes to food and nailed this for sure she loved the food there. I have walked into a lot of nursing home and this is one that didn't smell like a nursing home it was the cleanest one I have ever seen. The nursing stuff there was amazing keeping her busy and making sure of her needs were meet. She really like everyone there as she says they were nice. Therapy was so good with her she even did as they asked which is shocking. The overall experience with them was great I will recommend this nursing home to anyone. When the time comes to put her in one for good this will be the one. The care there is above and beyond any other place we look into or visited.
