The best place to do Jiu Jitsu in Northwest Indiana, without a doubt. Professor Mike is as good as it gets and everybody, kids and adults, are very nice and tough at the same time, a rare combination, but perfect for fighting training.

This academy is an excellent place to learn Jujitsu. My son had a bad experience at another gym and his confidence is brought back and hes learned a lot in just a few weeks!

Hoosier Academy of Self Defense has been a great experience. I had zero background in any self defense, BJJ, or similar background, prior to joining. The entire process has been top notch. At no point have I felt out of place. I would highly recommend Hoosier Academy of Self Defense to any experience level. Professor Mike is a great teacher, and very thorough with every class. Highly recommend HA Self Defense!!
