For the past 6 years a car has been started to warm up during the early winter hours, their headlights produce just enough light in my kitchen for me to make coffee without having to turn on any of my lights.
Whose lights these are I do not know
They come on early when there is snow
No one sees me making coffee
With no lights for my silhouette to show
The lights, my two dogs do not see
When I let them out to pee
They can not see above the bush
Or the squirrels sleeping in the tree
They give the door a little push
Come inside and wag their tush
I prepare their food and give them pets
Now its time for me to rush
The light comes in above my kitchen sink
Allowing me to make my drink
Soon he leaves for work I think
Soon he leaves for work I think
The parking lot is also nice and well kept.
