Lived here for four years and after moving out they charged us $206 dollars for "Stove cleaning", "Carpet cleaning", "Toilet cleaning", "Broken blinds", "Excessive nail holes in the living room" and "Refrigerator cleaning". Ironically during my move out inspection I was told by their employees that my apartment was well above average and I wouldn't believe the things they normally see from the people that had lived there. This absolutely ruined my opinion of Shady Knoll as well as their corporate company that runs them. I would avoid this place at all costs. Otherwise you will end up paying for all of the generic maintenance that the company itself should be responsible for. I cannot imagine how they have gouged others when our apartment was "well above average" and we end up with a bill for $206

The ladys are so sweet in the office,if something needs fixed they are quick to get it done, Maintenance is amazing and super sweet bill and Jim are my two favorite ones!! Always get the job done.. Im going on two years here & I absolutely love living here!!

Good place to look for an apartment. Average costs.

The staff has been very helpful. But this apartment complex has way too many geese here. They have taken over the whole complex. You see them everywhere not just on the pond. The feeding does not help the situation one bit. You have to watch everywhere you step cause you can step in the poo all over the place. The apartments are small and when we moved in the apartment smelled of cigerette smoke. The walls were NOT painted before we moved in cause when things got steamy in certain rooms of the apartment the smoked rolled down the the wall. It is really gross. But it will do for now.
