When I got a call from this lawyers office I thought I was so fortunate to find someone who would take my case because of my situation I was stuck in Texas but forced to go to court in Indiana and I didn't have any money because I couldn't receive unemployment or get a job because I was laid up in the hospital for months because of the bad pregnancy. I explained how my son's father lied in court and I could get proof. He didn't care about any of that and later told me he didn't know about it. Every time we went to court he never tried to do anything to bring back my good name on everything that was lied about. We went to mediation and my mother was on the phone with me to hear everything. When I got the papers to sign it was not everything we agreed to. Everything I had to do for him was in there but there was nothing detailed what he was supposed to do on his side. Mr Antrim told me to sign the papers or he was going to drop my case. He also stated that I know how the judge feels about me so I could take my chance in court with him or sign the papers. The judge even made calls in court based off of his own experience and not looking at the facts in front of him and doctors notes that I had. It's a small town so I believe they are somehow connected with my sons father. After getting almost completely screwed over Mr Antrim tells me he was told by someone above him that he wasn't supposed to take cases like mine. So he had to drop my case. I was charged over $100 for this phone call. I believe if he wasn't supposed to be taking a case like mine in the first place then I shouldn't be responsible for paying a lawyer who supposedly checked if he could take my case before he took it and then later told me he wasn't allowed to. I don't really have money to fight it and so far my experience with the state of Indiana tells me it doesn't matter if I'm right or wrong they're going to do what they want to me anyway. I feel, because of the way everything happened, it was a set up. Can't fight the "justice" system. Now I'm getting late notices to pay him when he was fine with me paying when I could. I have been told by people, with everything I have gone through they don't know how I'm so calm even some of the time. I may be but with this to top it off I am scarred for life. You can't heal from unethical and immoral acts against you when you're innocent and being attacked and the law does what they can to help the aggressor even your own lawyer!
