Kroger

Idk about other locations here yet but this Kroger is shorting people on meat. On multiple occasions tested several different large Heritage Farm chicken breast packs, each with 3 different scales. Every single pack was exactly 33% short. Which is the equivalent of what you're supposed to save with the sales that mark the 2.99 lb breasts down to 1.99 lb Edit~ raising from 1 to 3 stars because I haven't had many other issues here I have weighed meat from here a few times since and it seems under control for now. But I would still stay weary of this here and elsewhere. I buy in bulk, usually during sales, then weigh and portion all the meat out. Not sure if this was a staff, Kroger, Heritage farm, or scale issue. But I have since been informed we have a county scale inspector for this very reason. So they can be contacted if anyone else comes across this issue. 2/15/24 Going to start buying meat elsewhere because was once again shorted on lots of packs during a sale, this time Tyson breasts.

Love our Bloomington, Indiana stores! But if I may, PLEASE move the newspaper section somewhere BEFORE the check outs. I constantly forget them when entering and don't end up buying one.
