Mr and Mrs Ketchum had an old Case 480E Backhoe for sale on Facebook Marketplace.This old backhoe had been owned by her father who had passed years earlier.they had it listed as having brakes that were locked up and another problem or so.it was listed for $6500.my wife and i went there and made a deal with mr ketchum for $6400 cash.he had said he was getting alot of calls on it.i paid him,he went in and counted the money while i loaded it,chained it down and was ready to leave.He came out of the house and ask me to unload it and he would give me my money back.i didnt want to but he said his wife did not think it would sell so quick and she just needed to be there to see it leave because it reminded him of his dad.i did not want to but did so because he promised they would sell it to me in a week or 2.he did give me $100 for my trouble,which didnt really help when i wasted a whole day,alot of fuel and wear and tear.they lied.they will not answer phone calls from me.if we call from another number they say call back and they wont answer.this man claims to be a marine.i would not do business with him or her again.im betting the Case backhoe has been sold to someone else.if not it should still be sitting beside their home.
